  1. There are many roads in Dungimmon. The local names of the roads are the Free Acre Road and the Dungimmon Road. In the year 1880 and 1846 and 47 the ditches were made along the roads. This was called "Public Work."
    A man's schull and bones were found at the back of Owen Boyle's wall, Dungimmon.
    There is a very old road beside Tom FitzSimmon's, the old coach used to run on it.
    There is a stone in Bernard Mc Donnell's ditch Dungimmon on which are the words "Pray for the soul of Owen Corr" and there is another near Michael Glennan's Dungimmon; a man was killed at it. There is a monument at Terry Tiernan's field where Bernard Comeskey was killed.
