- (continued from previous page)as the 'Lady's Grave'. I could not get any information from the old people of the locality regarding this, accept that the giant's wife is supposed to be buried there.
There is also a small grave to be seen in the same place which is called the "Child's Grave."
Some of the people in this district are most superstitious, they regard these graves with supernatural fear, and would not pass by them late, at night, as it is commonly believed among them that the giant appears at certain times!
The Holywell District - about one and a half miles N.W. of Blacklion, situated in Co. Fermanagh near the village of Belcoo - receives its name from a Holy Well in the district, which was visited by St. Patrick. Though there are four streams flowing from this well in different directions, no one can see where the well rises. There is a pilgrimage made to it every year.
