  1. The following are the animals at my house; one horse, nine cows, six calves, one donkey, twelve pigs, a bull, one goat, a dog, and cat. The cowhouse is called a 'byre'.
    There are stakes in a row inside the 'byre'.
    There are rings round the stakes and there are ropes tied to the rings. The ropes are tied round the cows' necks. Some people make ropes out of bags.
    Sometimes a horse shoe is nailed on the stable door, and on the byre door. The stable is similar to the byre, there are stalls inside of it.
