    The blood of a double Byrne will cure shingles. To cure whooping-cough put some bread into a donkey's mouth: take it out. Put the child under the donkey and get him to eat the bread while under the donkey.
    Sugar and soap make poultice. It is very much used for taking thorns out of fingers.
