    Itch:
    Stew a handful of the leaves of the blackbutton plant in water and drink a wineglass full every morning fasting. Rub the skin with sulphur mixed with lard.
    Heartburn:
    A handful of the tops of broom stewed like tea, drained when cool and put in a bottle. Take a wineglassful in the morning fasting.
    Dropsey:
    Take a wineglassful night and morning of the above.
    Measles:
    Steep some saffron in water for a couple of hours and give a small spoonful in a glass of water.
