    Peter Flattery's father and Uncles were all shoemakers. They were proper shoemakers too.
    His father served with Joe Geoghaghan's father.
    This man lived where the present Geoghaghans live and he had assistants learning their trade.
    James Charty was a brougemaker and he served his time with the Higgins of Church Street.
    Peter Connor was a broguemaker too.
    The present shoemakers are only cobblers they use irons.
