We sometimes play a game in which you draw a round circle on the door and then you try to put your finger in the middle of the circle which is very easy to do. Then you have to put a handkerchief around your eyes and try and do it blindfolded. When you come to the place where the circle is you find you put your fingers into a person's mouth and you get a pinch with their teeth. All these games help to pass a winter's night and are good for the brain.
The children down the town play hop-scotch, whip-top and Tip-Cat more frequently than any others.
