    Expressions commonly heard not used by good English speakers
    A. From Irish sources.
    1. Does be etc.
    2. Use of past participle instead of past tense/ "I seen" etc.
    3. "I riz out of" meaning "I gave up"
    4. "Bothered" for "deaf" (bodhar)
    5. "innocent" for "imbecile"
    6 "fell out of his (her) standing" (doban gur thuit se' as a [?])
    7. "O, honey, O." (Survival of Ochone?) an exclamation often used by Old Peter when speaking of people who are dead and gone- "all wed away" as he would say.
    8. "After doing" etc
    9. "Crows" for "rooks" "Stars" for "Starlings"
    10. Shall never used. Should used only in referring to a duty.
    Hardy used in various phrases "hardy man"
    You're looking very "stout", meaning "healthy" not "fat".
