  1. The Townland I live in is Kyle. There are six families in it. The most common family name is Keohoe. Nearly all the houses are slated. There are three people over seventy in the village There names are. Michael Dillon, James Keohe, and Mrs Keohe all from Kyle. There were more houses in the village years ago than there are now. Nearly all the old houses are now in ruins. There are five or six families from Kyle in America. The Mount Leinster stream flows through the village. There is a wart well in it also.
