    About two hundred years ago there was no churches or schools. The priests were hunted by the yeos and killed. There was an old church in Kyle. The yeos burned and took the holy water font and carried it beside a trunk of a tree. It is now called "The Wart Well because if anyone had warts and washed his hands in it - he would be cured.
    There is a tree in a field in Mullawn, and there are three insurgents burried under it
    There was a priest stopping in a house near Newtownbarry the priest hunter came and the priest went out of the house and down the lane. He met the priest-hunters in the lane and stood under a bush. The soldiers passed on but they didn't see the priest. There is a corner in a field in Ballypracus which is
