  1. In "Penal Times" the priest could not say Mass in the Churches because the soldiers would kill them if they could catch them. The Priests had to say Mass on the mountains or in an old house. There was an old house in a lane in Kyle and the Priest used to say Mass in it and the people near the place went to Mass. The house thatched with rushes. There
