    When the farmer found he was sound asleep he prepared himself and started for the crock of gold which he found in the exact spot where the poor tailor told him. He brought it home and when the poor tailor awakened he started for the crock of gold. To his surprise it had disappeared. He returned home broken-hearted for his great loss. The farmer had a great sympathy for him. After this it was well known where the crock went as the farmer seemed to prosper ever after.
