  1. I often made a toy bird. I got two potatoes and fastened them together with a stick. Then I got a couple of feathers and stuck them in the end of the potato for a tail and I stuck a couple of feathers in the sides of the potatoes for wings. Then I got the ends of two matches and stuck them in the end of the potatoes for feet Then I got another end of a match and stuck it in her head for a beak. I put two pebbles in her head for two eyes. Then the bird was made and it looked very nicely.
