   Between Castletown and Adamstown there was a hedge-school. The teacher's name was Mr Flynn and he had a little hut for the cold and wet weather. He taught the children under the hedge in the Summer. Every child paid three pence every week to the master because he had no salary and he was trying to earn a living.
