  1. In every district there are a few people who can cure certain diseases.
    I here give you a list of the diseases with their cures after them :- Consumption ; goat's breath is a cure for it ; Diarrhea ; sheeps milk is a cure for it. Craos galar ; a child that never saw his father can cure it to breathe on him for three mornings fasting ; Chin-Cough ; if you saw a man with a white horse going the road and ask him what would you give the child and whatever he would tell you is a sure sign that it would cure it ; Headache ; the blood that is spilt on St Martin's night is a cure for a pain in the head and also for a pain in the side. Toothache ; to go under a briar three times is a cure for it ; Warts ; to steal a piece of meat and hide it in the dung-pit and while the meat is rotting the wart is curing. Another cure is to rub water that
