    There was a house in Upperchurch and it was haunted.

    There was a house in Upperchurch and it was haunted . a hugh dig was to be seen in a field near the house every night. One night the man of the house was playing cards in a neighbours house and when going home he had to cross the field where the dog was supposed to be seen at night. When he went into the field he saw the dog after a while he disappeared in a ball of fire.

    There is a house near Hollyford and there is a fort near it.

    There is a house near Hollyford and there is a fort near it. It is said faries are after the people of the house because they got money which did not belong to them it belonged to the faries. If any of the people of the house were out after ten o'clock they would see strange things. One of the boys of the house was going home from the village of Hollyford one
