Once upon a time there lived a boy and he would not do anything his father or mother told him.

Once upon a time there lived a boy and he would not do anything his father or mother told him. They used to be telling him they would do everything to him. One day they told him they would bury him alive. They put him in the coffin, and put him, in the hearse, and were going to the graveyard. At every cross they came to, they asked would he do what they told him, if they let him out. He used to say, "Honour the funeral." When they came to the graveyard they buried him. About two days after, they went to the graveyard, and asked him if they let him out would he do what they told him, out. He said he would, so they let him out.
