    Near Dundrum School is a very big Cross called Lysaght's Cross because Mr. Lysaghts' Hotel is built at it. Six roads branch from this cross like this.

    The Mill Road is so called because it leads to an old disused mill.
    Near the school is another byroad locally known as the green road. Some years ago it was a private path used only by the landlord and his servants. Now it is public property.
