  1. Once upon a time a man had a beautiful daughter, and she was stolen away by the fairies and a witch put in her place.
This witch got sick and nobody could cure her. There was a priest in the house who said she must be a witch. He brought two pieces of burning coal and put it at each side of her, and ordered her to get away quickly.
At once the witch jumped out of the bed and ran away.
Then the priest told the family to leave the doors and windows open.
In the night time a white horse came to the door and the mans daughter got off the horse and ran to her mother.
