    The best cure for "sore eyes" is to bathe them with Boracic Powder in water. Another good cure for eyes whether they are sore or not is to wash them in cold water for nine mornings.
    This is a good cure for a sore throat -: to gargle it with bread-soda and water. To put some Iodine on a piece of wool and then put the wool into the tooth that is paining you is a good cure for a toothache.
    A good cure for a cough is to take the white of an egg with the juice of a lemon. To drink some lemon-soda
