    The birds and animals are also good signs for the way they move or stir indicates the weather. When the birds fly low they forecast rain. Another sign of rain is if the cows collect in one corner of the field or the mountains appear near you, also the way the smoke blows from the chimney and even the fire itself indicates rain.
