    Every one both young and old looks forward to Saint Patricks day - the patron Saint of Ireland. Shamrocks are gathered on that day. On Holy Thursday the oil for anointing is blessed. On good Friday people say the Stations of the Cross.
    Easter Sunday the majority of the people receive Holy Communion. On Whit-Sunday all the children being baptised were dressed in white. Easter Monday is a bank holiday.
