    To God I give my soul to keep
    There are four corners to my bed
    There are four angels round me spread,
    If I die before I wake I pray to God my soul to take.

    If any evil comes to me
    Oh blessed Lady waken me,
    That the Lord may leave me my eye-sight to see,
    And my right-hand to bless me"
    Amen.
    "Jesus at my head,
    The Blessed Virgin at my feet,
    Twelve apostles guard me,
    While I sleep."
    Amen.
