    8. The smoke turns and goes down to the ground.

    10. When the wild geese are heard at night.
    11. When one can hear the echo of a train at a long distance it is always the sign of rain.
    12. When you see fleecy white clouds that you imagine are hanging from the sky it is the sign of rain. (These are called wool-packs).
