    about Finola. Tadg the Harper's harp began to play of its own accord. At first it was like wailing but then it became the voice of the Princess Finola. The King and queen turned very pale as the voice said the following words :-
    "There in front of me is the King my dear dear father, and next to him is the Queen my beloved mother, and next to her is my noble brother Connor, and next to Connor is my one only true lover Prince Murrough", and after this the voice began in one of rage and fury, "There there decked in her finest jewels is my false hearted sister Maeve who threw me into the river yesterday evening so that she could win my only lover Prince Murrough for herself. The voice of the dead Princess ended sorrowfully there and a deadly silence reigned about the place. Maeve thought to make her escape, but as soon as she darted through the hall a servant caught her, and Tadg the Harper ordered a fire to be made outside the castle and Maeve was thrown
