On Limerick's eastern plain it lies
But 'tis known the country round,
For the people of the parish are
    For hospitality renouwned.
St. Michael;s church stands in its pride
    Reminding those who pass
That here the faithful flock each week
    To hear the holy Mass
    lll
Beside the church in peace and quiet
    embowered in trees so grand
Surrounded by green lawns and walks
    A Mercy Convent stand.
Near - by we see the schools and "Teck"
Where youth is taught with care
How long the memories live on
Of happy days of youth spent there
    lV
The rural district is as faair
As the old town it surround,
For its meadows, fields and hedges
    With verdure green abount
    No wonder Limerick exiles
And they are not a few
    think with tender memories
    Sweet Cappamore of you.
