  1. One night when a man was coming home from Elm Hill. He was a native of Kilscannell. He wanted wanted to shorten his journey for home and he came across the fields it was about eleven oclock at night. It was also very dark and stormy.
    When he crossed the first field a light went before and it kept before him until he was in the field where his own house stood. He stopped now and again to see what it was & the light stopped also & when he was near his own it disappeared.
