    the door after he was so frightened. He told his mother all that had happened and she said that a tall man who lived in a house between O'Grady's and Mangan now in ruins, and is called the burned house. One night he went over to steal win out of Kilconnell church. It is said that he stole the wine all night but after that he was never heard nor seen of.
    That night he got sick and died in a week later, to the tall man's prophecy was fulfilled.
