One night Thomas of Cappagh was going home from the pictures about half past eleven.

One night Thomas of Cappagh was going home from the pictures about half past eleven. When he was going in his own gate he heard something dancing. He looked around and saw the Devil. The Devil said that if Tom did not answer this question he would be here every night. So Tom said what was the question. So the Devil said he would not open the gate unless he answered the question.
Tom got tired and he said in the name of God what else do you want. The Devil disappeared and he was never seen again.
