  1. The games I play are "button," foxes den, four corner fool, gobs, burnt biscuit, London Bridge, prisoners threshing-machine, blind man's buff, ducky, colours and "Heaven - Hell - and Purgatory." Foxes den is played in Winter when there is hay in the sheds. One girl goes into a house and the others go ahide and when they are ahide, they shout, "Hide" and the other girl goes looking for them and who ever she catches must look for them the next time.
    Four corner fool is played in Spring. One stands in the centre, and the others go opposite each other and they change from one place to another. If the fool succeeds in getting the place of another the other who is put out of her place is the fool. Burned biscuit is played in Summer. One girl gets a brown stick and puts it ahide while the others are not watching her. When it is ahide the others go looking for it and whoever succeeds in finding
