  1. There is another forge in Urhan about five miles from this school. In the year 1906 this forge was broken. The forge was repaired about three years ago. The bellows was cut and it is said that it was stolen also.

    There is a forge on the side of the road going to Kenmare from Castletown.

    There is a forge on the side of the road going to Kenmare from Castletown. It is built on cross-roads and it is very unlucky. An apprentice slept in this forge one night and he saw several fairies. This man was taken away by the fairies and he was found near "Maluin" the next morning. There was a leather bellows in this forge and the smith got a new one a few weeks ago.
