    It was on the twenty day of December

    Some distance in the air.
    It was the call for big and small.
    To come from everywhere.
    The people left their humble
    homes along the gorgeous plains.
    They poured from the mountain tops, the front streets and the lanes.
    And as they gathered to the town.
    The caused a mighty throng
    And as sure as night comes after day
    They were five hundred strong.
