    2. There is a story told about a mermaid who lived long ago. There were some men standing on the shore and they saw a ruffling coming on the waves and there came out a mermaid and she went to one of them and said "Come here on this day twelve months at sun-set and you will get three of the finest cows of the land" Bo Finn, Bo Dubh, Bo Dearg.
    When the men heard that they were glad and they brought her round the country. Then she said that she like to go back again and they brought her. She said to them to come on the day after that and
