  2. One day a priest was out walking through the country, he met a young tinker boy and the Priest asked him could he bless himself and the little boy replied, "No" and said he was never taught to do so. The Priest was astonished at this and thought it a terrible thing, and after some silence the boy spoke. "I bet you could not put a bottom in a tin can" said the boy. "No I could not" said the priest. "Well off with you" said the boy. "Every man for his own trade".
