    The landlord of this district was Coote. He lived in Armagh. The people liked him. They kept his hounds in summer months & made turf and carted it to his home. There are only 3 Protestant families in the Eight Tates - the eight town lands of this district. They came to certain places to lift rent. (Story on page 8 about another landlord).
