  1. Old people have many signs of the weather. They know whether the next day will be good or not. The principal of the signs which they generally use are: - When the sun goes down red the next day will be good. When it goes down with rays like Moses's horns it will be a bad day. If the clouds in the morning move westward it will be a good day. When the clouds of the morn to the west fly away.
    You may depend on a fair settled day.
    When the train can be heard from here it is the sign of rain.
    When a fog goes out the mountain it is the sign of good
