  1. The names of the weeds which grow in this district:- The Buachalán, Thistle, Nettle, Dock, Chicken Weed, Feara Bán and Water cress. They do a lot of harm to the land because they grow where the grass should grow. Thistles, Nettles and Dock grow rapidly. The Buachalán, Dock, Thistle and nettle grow only where the land is good.
    "Iron Rod" is mixed with lard, Garlic and gun powder and given to calves to keep them from taking black leg, Dandelion
