    The river Duff forms the border between it and Leitrim. There is one large wood - Cloontybawn - 1/4 ml. square. There are no lakes or streams.
    Population.
    There are 11 houses in the town. They are all McGloin's presently except 4-;
    McIntyre, Costello, Gilroy, McGuire.
    46 is the number living now.
    Formerly there were more.
    There were 3 more houses.

    These houses are gone the family dying out in each case. Many of present generation have gone to America and more to Scotland and England. It was 74, 20 years ago.
