    This townland lies south of Bunduff River, in Ahemlish Parish and Barony of Carberry - (Carbury) Its area is roughly 250 acres, mostly of poor land - rocky, heathery, boggy with an exceptional good piece here and there.
    All the land between the main road and sea is rocky while above or southwards of road is boggy, marshy and of no use for agriculture. Towards the sea there are some good patches. The general crops are potatoes, oats, rye, cabbages, turnips with little wheat.
