  2. The old Abbey is about seven hundred years old. It is situated in the Castl -field. It is in the parish of Kilglass, town-land of Enniscrone, and the barony of Tereragh, in the County of Sligo.
    II
    The Abbey is a broken down ruin. In it stands a grave of Revd Thomas Valentine one of the ministers. This Abbey was built by the Friar's. They had it for over a hundred years. Then the Protestants took it over.

    The Abbey is in the shape of a chapel, covered over with ivy. There are four window's and one door in it. In it are many graves of which the most
