- The Local Forge
There is a forge in Gorvagh at the Gorvagh crossroads. The Smith's name is Frank Reynolds. His grandfather was first to have the forge at Gorvagh. The forge is made of wood and moodwall thatched with rushes and there are two doors on it. There is one fireplace in it and one bellous (?) made from leather it was torn up during the war of 1916 by soldiers to see if any amnunation was stored in it. The smith's implements are an anvil and a sledge and a vice and a waterthrough for cooling the irons
The smith shoes asses and horses and pares their hoves. The smith can make the cure of the Ricker's, he also makes boy's swingletrees by irons horse and ass shoes
