   said nothing but went into the room very frightened. His mother followed him and noticed that he looked sick. He told her what had happened and clung to her dress saying "There is a brown haired woman after me, I can see her now". Then he stretched on the bed and died shortly after.

   One night a woman was going along the field known as the "big orchard" (a field adjoining the fort). Suddenly she heard the noise of horses galloping and then a carriage drawn by horses came into view. The carriage had no driver. It passed her and went along the old road to wards the fort.
