- The leipreachan is a small man wearing a cap with a tossle on it and a red jacket.
He usually sits under a furze bush, his occupation is mending shoes for the other leipreachans. He has a purse of gold around his neck and when anybody would see him they would know at once who he was, and demand the purse of gold of him. The leipreachan is a very clever little fellow and while any human being is demanding the money from him he says something to distract his attention then if the person happens to look around the little fellow disappears.- Collector
