    hand. The curragh tumbled over and Pat fell out and got drowned. The men on the vessel lowered a life boat to look for him but they did not get him.

    Told by my father Robert Gallagher Tully 22 January 1938. Address. Tully, Carrigart, Lifford. A farmer, Age 55. Born and reared in Tully.
    About fifty years ago the Morass ferry boat capsized when crossing the ferry and some of the men got drowned. A man named Dan Mc Gee was in the boat and he crept on the ground under the water till he reached the dry land. He was afterwards called Partan Mc Gee.
    Partan means a sea crab.

    Told by my Aunt Lizzie Gallagher Tully on 24 January 1938. Address. Tully, Carrigart, Lifford. Age 62 years. Reared and spent all her life in Tully.
