  1. When the old people were going to rest they said these prayers :-
    1. In the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ crucified, I lay me down to rest. Bless, O Lord, defend and govern me. And after this short and miserable pilgrim age here, bring me to everlasting happiness with You in Heaven. Amen.
    2. Take my body, Jesus,
    Eyes and ears and tongue.
    Never let them, Jesus,
    Help to do Thee wrong.
Take my heart and fill it
    Full of love for Thee
All I have I give Thee,
    Give Thyself to me.
