Sleep till milking-time it is my heart's delight. A bed of green rushes under my side. A bottle of liquir under my head. And my bonnie brown girl in my arms. 111 Ere last night three hours before day. I wrote my love a letter but she was far away. The lark and the thrush and the blackbirds say. That my love sailed over the ocean. 1111 I travelled behind and I travelled before. I travelled Dublin and city Athlone. But the like of my true-love I never saw before. But one brown girl and she left me.
