    Knockmaun. You could go only a few hundred yards into it now as some of the roof has fallen in. There is also another cave leading to it. That other cave is only a few fields away from it.

    There is a "lios" in our field.

    There is a 'lios' in our field. It is said that it is not lucky to plough them. If you ploughed a lios anything would not grow in that field. If you ploughed the field and left the lios alone whatever you would sow would grow better than anyplace around.
