- Carramore Old RoadThe old road passing by Ned Hanahoe's of Carramore was closed about seventy years ago. It was closed for the purpose of stopping the people from going that way to town. It was the Jacksons that got it closed because it was going through part of their demesne until 1930 about eight years ago when the government got bridge built at Ned Hanahoe's.
