  1. Long ago there was an old village on Bob Turnbull’s land in Scotchfort. Families named Early, Reidy, Peacock, Grehan and Howley lived there. Between Turnbull’s and Cafferty’s there was another village in which lived families named Lavin, Kelly, Reidy, Cafferty and Barrett. On the Cappanaglogh hill there was another village in which there lived families named Traynor, Reilly, MacNulty, Fitzpatrick, Geraghty and Harte. All those lived in those villages in Cappanaglogh.
