- (continued from previous page)who witnessed the First Storm. Many a time she told of the Night of the Big Wind as they called it. She was an Orphan, She lived with her aunt in Lacken. She was but a small child at that time. When she saw her people preparing to leave she hid in the churn at the end of the Dresser.
They looked for her before they left but could not find her. Then they were convinced that she was blown away by the storm into the sea. They took refuge in a neighbouring house. In the morning they returned to their roofless, wrecked home. When they went inside they heard some noise. They went to the churn and there they found the supposed to be lost child.- Collector
